Unlock your potentialJob Summary and QualificationsThe Medical Imaging Specialist III – CT Scan/Diagnostic X-ray demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients served in the department. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply todayDemonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his or her age specific needs, and provide the care needed as described in the department’s policies and proceduresProvides health care services applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatmentPerforms computed tomography and related procedures sectional anatomic images for interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitionerExercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethicsProvides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential to successful completion of the procedureProvides services to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients What qualifications you will need:High School graduate or equivalentGraduate of an accredited Radiology Technology Program and a member in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) and ARRT (CT)Must be licensed by the State of NevadaCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS)Demonstrates documented competence specific to the CT/X-ray positionRegistered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (CT) Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center provides Las Vegas and the Southwest region with high-quality, advanced healthcare services.
