Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. Full time on-site second shift Monday-Thursday 3:30PM-2:00AM.

The Test Technician III, will be responsible for performing routine and varied tasks to ensure that production standards are met. Sets up, calibrates, tests and troubleshoots production assemblies. Projects may range from simple to complex.
Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences. Lays out and assembles units for production equipment according to designs and specifications. Adjusts and calibrates systems as needed. Modifies equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches. Corrects malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed. Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills High School Diploma or GED and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience.
- Test electronic and electro-mechanical units using standard and RF test equipment. Analyze results to evaluate performance and determine need for adjustment.
- Follows complex test specifications, test procedures and verbal instructions in order to perform a variety of routine standard tests.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings diagrams, hardware specifications, schematics, or written work instructions.
- Working knowledge of electronic theory and components
- Ability to troubleshoot and analyze failures using electronic test equipment and software. Diagnoses minor deficiencies in equipment and recommends rework where necessary.
- Experience in microelectronics and RF testing.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Prior test experience.
- Prior DoD/Aerospace Testing Experience.
- Must work well with a team.
- Experience in using Excel.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $54560 - $87340
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
