Who are we looking for? 

An entry-level mechanic who prioritizes safety and time management. An individual who is coachable and eager to learn. Applicants must be positive and willing to take on new challenges.

Minimum Requirements:

A Diesel Mechanic must have the following:  

  • Availability to work some Saturdays.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Basic knowledge of:
  • Hydraulics
  • Electrical system
  • Maintenance Experience Required: (minimum 1 year)
  • Oil
  • Tires
  • Clutch replacements
  • Rear differentials
  • Full Drivers License (Driver Permits and Provisional Drivers License are excluded)
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification is Preferred

About the position: 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic preventative maintenance on the fleet
  • Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
  • Upkeep the general cleanliness of the Diesel Shop
  • Comply with all Company & OSHA Safety Standards 
  • Assist our fleet on the road as needed
  •  Other duties as assigned 

Preferred Skills:

  • Natural mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to quickly grasp concepts

Physical Demands:  

Individuals must have the consistent ability to: 

  • Stand their entire shift
  • Lift, Push, Pull 70lbs regularly
  • Work in an outdoor environment all year round
  • Maintain continuous awareness of surroundings
  • Work in a fast-paced environment
  • Adhere to the safety protocols and procedures
