Job Description Merchandiser II - Refined Oils, Decatur ILADM Ag Services & OilseedsThis is a full time exempt positionMAIN FUNCTION:This position will have responsibility managing/trading our North American Palm & Lauric oil position and helping implement strategic business plans for multiple oilseed refineries. The position will have a strong role with inventory management and utilization plan/product mix at the refineries and terminal assets.
Daily/weekly communication with plant operations, supply chain team and sales team to ensure coordination and maximize refinery profitability.
Frequent communication with local crush teams to understand how crush plans will impact refining feeds stock and run rates.
Support projects that will improve plant efficiencies and profitability. The successful candidate will assist in executing strategies that match with our corporate objectives. Some travel visiting facilities and customers. A master's degree is considered to be an asset.Validated capacity to excel within high risk, dynamic work environment.Shown ability to assess risk and exercise good judgment in making decisions.Proven negotiation and social skills.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the domestic & international trade.Shown ability to lead effectively within a team based work environment.Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with end-users, suppliers, and internal customers.Computer competent, with proven ability in the use of spreadsheet, database and word processing software applications within a windows based operating environmentExcited about this role but don't meet every requirement listed?
