Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer to join our team In this role you will get to f acilitate the modeling, simulation, and analyses of future concepts that shape the future of the Missile Defense System (MDS) and respond to Warfighter needs. What You'll Be Doing: * Assess MDS threats, capability gaps, challenges, needs, and opportunities to develop potential system mitigations and capability evolutions at the architecture level.* Support modeling & simulation (M&S) efforts related to the above, including analysis efforts on DoD High-Performance Computing (HPC) system.* Develop analysis plans, execute M&S to implement those plans, assess analysis results, prepare analysis briefs/reports, and provide reviews of analysis products.* Facilitate the definition/implementation of future concepts for modeling, simulation, and analysis.* Act as a subject matter expert in future concept definition, architecture analyses, and reviewing preliminary results prior to delivery to customer. What Required Skills You'll Bring: * Master's Degree in a STEM Field with 12+ years of experience in missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project * Active Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.* Deep understanding of the current MDS architecture and future concepts* Experience in modeling, assessment, and evaluation of future missile defense architectures * Experience with MATLAB What Desired Skills You'll Bring: * Active TS/SCI Clearance.* Experience with the definition and use of advanced concepts and algorithms for the M&S of MDS architectures.* Experience with M&S and analysis of MDS architectures involving both directed and kinetic energy weapons and other future concepts.* Experience with HPC Systems, Python, and Git.* Experience with BMD Benchmark.* Experience supporting systems engineering-related architecture design activities.* Ability to perform technology assessment & analysis and provide insight on the utility of potentially useful technologies.* Specialized MDS analysis experience in: threat characterization, trajectories, RF sensing/signatures, and/or EO/IR sensing/signatures.* Proven ability to coauthor numerous reports and provide significant contributions to MDS studies and responses to Congress.* Experience serving as a key advisor and collaborating on products that may go outside the Agency, such as DoD, Services, Combatant Commands, industry experts, etc. Security Clearance Requirement: An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.
