Program Overview Engineering modernization and integration practices to include Digital Engineering and Agile at Scale for all of NGA, NSG, and ASG. About The Role Peraton is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in taking a multi-disciplinary approach to requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability and analysis across CAP/SAP architectures, the NSG/ASG and Federal Agencies to ensure timely and accurate GEOINT. Key Responsibilities: * Guides the planning, analysis/traceability of user requirements, architectures traceability, procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems, and review cloud service capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.* Guides Mid-level system engineers developing solutions designs based on analysis of requirements and new technology.* Assists the Government in the capture and translation of mission and customer requirements/needs into systems/capability requirements and solutions.* Supports the analyses and allocation of requirements to systems architecture components and executing programs.* Assists the Government in performing systems integration activities.* Conducts AoA, CoA, Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments.* Explains technical issues clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences.Qualifications Peraton offers enhanced benefits to employees working on this critical National Security program, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap and eligible to participate in an attractive bonus plan. Required Skills: * Bachelor's degree in systems engineering or a related technical/scientific field* 12+ years of experience in government or industry relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or system engineering of large complex system of systems* 8+ years of experience with strategic plan development, decomposition, and management* 8+ years of experience with systems engineering lifecycle* 8+ years of experience supporting the assessment, evaluation, and deployment of new or emerging technologies into operations or the architecture impacts and a recommendation path forward* 3+ years of experience in project management or technical team leadership* TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polySCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range Details Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
