Entry Level Software Engineer with Security Clearance

Amentum is seeking a dedicated results-oriented software engineer to support NSWC Dahlgren H20. Software Engineer Responsibilities Include: * Developing software for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Fire Control Systems * Developing graphical user interfaces for local tools with the team of users. * Developing software updates using C++, and implementing DevSecOps tools Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Math, Computer Science, and/or Physics with entry level experience. * Must have (or be able to obtain) an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret * Knowledge in definition and management of software requirements, design, code, benchmark testing, debugging, software development lifecycle, architecture, and documentation. * Plans, performs, and leads software design, coding, and testing. * Experience in an Agile software development environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies * Source code tracking tools (i.e Git, Bitbucket) * C++ (Ada also Preferred) * Ability to Commute to Dahlgren, VA Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
