REMOTE (but need onsite presence if required in Charlottesville, VA) Duration: Full Time role Client: DIA Need Minimum TS Clearance Duties and responsibilities
* Designs and implements visually appealing, functional UIs.
* Illustrates UI design using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
* Validates UI/UX requirements with users.
* Recommends front-end development frameworks.
* Troubleshoots UX issues.
* Implements Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. Minimum qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field.
* 3 years of front-end development experience, with proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular and React, plus HTML, CSS, and XML.
* 3 years of UI/UX design and development experience on an Agile team, showing an understanding of UX principles, patterns, and practices.
* Proficiency with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
* Experience using Design Thinking or Human-Centered Design processes.
* Experience translating customer requirements into modern, dynamic, engaging, responsive web interfaces.
* UI/UX professional certificate. (Preferred not required)
