Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform triage and technical investigation of software defects identified during V&V execution.
Conduct root cause analysis utilizing expert knowledge of Panther and Panther Fusion software architecture and historical design decisions.
Review software requirements, architecture, design documentation, and defect data to identify likely fault sources.
Provide technical recommendations, corrective action options, and risk assessments to the permanent engineering team.
Accelerate defect investigation timelines by supplying legacy product and design-history context not readily available within the current organization.
Partner with Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Quality Assurance, and V&V teams during issue analysis and technical reviews.
Support compliance considerations related to regulated medical device software development practices.
Document findings and recommendations to facilitate efficient handoff to permanent engineering teams.
