Senior Marketing Data Analyst

Location: Remote (Candidates must be based in Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Indiana, or Michigan) with occasional onsite travel to the office (approximately once per month)

A leading marketing and communications organization is seeking a Senior Marketing Data Analyst to help transform data into actionable insights that drive business and marketing performance. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate campaign effectiveness, develop measurement strategies, and provide data-driven recommendations across multiple channels.

<>Key Responsibilities>
  • Analyze and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns including paid media, search, social, email, and web.
  • Develop insights and recommendations that improve marketing performance and business outcomes.
  • Design measurement frameworks and reporting strategies.
  • Utilize SQL and relational databases to answer complex business questions.
  • Perform advanced analytics using Python or R.
  • Build dashboards and visualizations using reporting tools.
  • Support digital tagging, tracking, and campaign measurement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with marketing, creative, strategy, and client-facing teams.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to analytics best practices.
  • Stay current on emerging analytics tools, technologies, and methodologies.
<>Required Qualifications>
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing, Computer Science, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Marketing, agency, or consulting environment experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or performance measurement.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • SQL
    • Python and/or R
    • Tableau and/or Power BI
  • Experience with digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex analytical findings to business stakeholders.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities.

  • Customer journey and attribution analysis.
  • Advanced statistical modeling and forecasting.
  • Leadership or mentoring experience.
