Security Specialist with Security Clearance

MANTECH is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Security Specialist to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Process new incoming Program Access Request (PAR) packages by quality-reviewing the PAR and route PAR for necessary approvals/signatures, tracking via the JADE database.* Update the JADE database with all incoming Program Indoctrination Agreements (PIA) and Debriefing Statements, as well as foreign travel, security violations, derogatory information, etc.* Perform personnel verification actions via the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).* Assist customers as to the status of PAR packages, i.e., checking the database as tostatus, and/or checking pending folders, reciprocity files, and individual personnelfolders.* Verify program access in support of multi-level briefings, conduct program briefing and debriefings, and conduct initial and annual security trainings.* Interact with customers concerning issues on PARs, Risk Assessments, program clearances, and other general information as needed.* Draft and coordinate Continued Access Eligibility (CAE) request letters.* As part of the PAR process, review DD-254s to verify individual's authorization for program access. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of personnel or program security experience. Additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.* Experience and understanding of Program Access Request process.* Candidate must be capable of multi-tasking and working in a high-tempo environment.* Excellent customer relations skills required. Ability to collaborate with a team of non-supervisory personnel on matters relating to personnel security program objectives, priorities and deadlines preferred.* Basic knowledge of DD-254 documentation.* Working knowledge of Pre-Screening Questionnaire (PSQ) and PSQ templates Preferred Qualifications: * Possess excellent oral and written communication skills* Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with alllevels of staff, and visitors* Be a self-starter and capable of working with very little supervision. Clearance Requirements: * Must have an Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility. Additionally, this position is nominative; therefore, the successful applicant must apply for, and be granted, SCI and SAP access. Physical Requirements: * Sedentary Work
