Software Configuration Analyst Sr. with Security Clearance

Job Number 715502BR Description:The Software Configuration Management (SCM) team supports our media prep function on the Joint Strike Fighter Training & Logistics program. The team's mission is to maintain the integrity and traceability of the software released by the program to its customers. As a Software Configuration Analyst, you will:• Track and maintain all program software and data on training devices• Manage, track and control all configuration changes • Assign unique identifiers to software and data used by training devices• Support routine engineering reviews • Review changes to software baseline to ensure compliance with configuration management policies• Disseminate data to the program and government customers The team operates in a software-focused environment where a variety of software tools are employed ranging from MS Office, to the Atlassian suite, to DOORS Next, to internal bash/python/PowerShell automation scripts. Strong computer skills are expected. The tasking of the team varies day-to-day based on program needs, so organization and communication skills are important to ensuring tasks are completed correctly and efficiently.Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college• 5 or more years of professional engineering experience • Experience with JSF Pilot Training Devices or FMS• Demonstrated experience supporting Configuration/Data Management Systems• Experience with work tracking and metric generation in JIRADesired Skills:• Experience in engineering tools; GitLab, JIRA, Confluence• Demonstrated track record of solving problems and implement constructive changes• Experience using hardware and software systems• Experience with IBM Engineering Life Cycle Management (ELM)Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 yearsOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match.
