This effort focuses on providing a comprehensive set of System/ Software Engineering and IT Services to maintain, sustain, enhance, and improve/ modernize MARS. The Senior Database Design Engineer responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Design and manage the data architecture that underpins the MARS system* Develop comprehensive data models, schemas, and storage solutions that ensure efficient data integration, retrieval, and analysis* Establish data governance frameworks, standardize data definitions, and implement best practices to maintain data quality and consistency across the system* Work closely with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with business requirements and to optimize performance, scalability, and security* Guide the team in deploying advanced data management tools and technologies, ensuring seamless data flow and accessibility Required Education, Experience, & Skills * Bachelor's Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering and 10 years or more of related experience; Masters and 8 years or more experience (an additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree)* Active Certification: Security+, SecurityX/ CASP+, CCNP Security, CISSP, CISA, Cloud+, or CISM* Extensive experience in leading the development of data architectures, optimizing database systems, and ensuring data governance* Proficiency in data modeling, designing data pipelines, and integrating diverse data sources* Strong understanding of big data technologies and enterprise data management Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
