About This Role:

Role Overview: Universal Consulting Services (UCS) a subsidiary of Tria Federal (Tria) is seeking a talented Secretary II. The person in this role will support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division

Responsibilities:
  • Perform and coordinate all clerical and day-to-day administrative support activities which are typically required to accomplish the work of the organization
  • Compose routine and exceptional correspondence on subjects specified by supervisor, ability to review outgoing documentation for adherence to Department of the Navy and NSWC PHD format and policy
  • Review documents prepared for signature or requiring coordination for conformance with regulations, grammar, format, and special policies of the department
  • Communicate to originator for corrections as needed or when not in conformance with known policies, or when correspondence regulations have not been followed
  • Schedule appointments and make arrangements for participants, time and location of meetings in accordance with instructions from the requestor
  • Perform timekeeper responsibilities to include generation and analysis of missing and unapproved reports, follow-up with personnel for discrepancies, and verify submission and approval of leave/overtime requests

The "Need-to-Have" Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience utilizing Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and a demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently

The projected compensation range for this position is $24.00 to $26.00 (hourly USD). The estimated compensation represents the standard salary range for a position of this kind, reflecting just one factor of the comprehensive compensation structure and benefits package offered to Tria employees.
