Join a dynamic federal program team supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP). As a Senior Acquisition SME, you will lead and coordinate acquisition activities, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and supporting mission-critical projects from planning through execution. Key Responsibilities- Serve as a senior member of a program team, reporting to the contract support manager.- Provide direct support to Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) assigned to program contracts.- Lead obligation of program funds and oversee procurement package generation and submission.- Develop and submit S1 Memo packages.- Lead and coordinate evaluation of bids/proposals, contract awards, and closeouts.- Submit and track program communication circuit requirements through installation.- Lead execution of selected projects as identified by the program manager.- Collaborate with outside agency project leaders to synchronize work with program goals and objectives.- Prepare, track, and maintain status of all program acquisition efforts.- Develop and analyze recommendations on program acquisition matters.- Support development of annual program acquisition goals and objectives.- Support program spend plan development, execution, and tracking.- Support documentation development for acquisition planning and project management from mission analysis and requirements generation through design, development, production, and deployment. Required Qualifications- BS or BA degree with 15 years’ Government Acquisition experience, or MS degree with 10 years’ Government Acquisition experience.- Demonstrated experience with DHS/CBP budgeting and acquisition process.- Active Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Customs and Border Protection Public Trust clearance (CBPI).- Excellent written and oral communications skills, including development and presentation of briefings to senior government personnel.- Self-starter capable of supporting senior government personnel independently, with minimal supervision.
