IAM Cloud Engineering Analyst

We are looking for a IAM Cloud Engineering Analyst to join our Global Information Security organization.
Role expectations, exceptionally strong working knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) domain both business and technical, risk identification and mitigation, as well as management of controls in a cloud environment. This role is highly visible and requires frequent interaction with management and key stakeholders. The role will be responsible for Identity and Access Management (IAM) Security for Cloud. The IAM function is aligned to provide a centralized governance model, driving consistency through end-to-end horizontal risk oversight as well as vertical functional capabilities that provide comprehensive subject matter expertise on all IAM systems and services. In support of the Cloud Security program and delivery of an operational framework the following applied knowledge and experience with associated, policies, tools, configurations, and rules, needed to deploy solutions that manage the security of cloud platforms and reduce risk to bank workloads in the cloud. Result-oriented, business focused, and successful at interfacing across multiple organizational units, at various levels.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring that IAM technology and controls for Cloud are implemented, monitored, and adhered to established IAM standards.
- Responsible for achieving intended Cloud IAM outcomes through the developments and enhancements of applicable standards, processes, data elements, oversight, and governance for IAM for BAC's Cloud infrastructure systems and applications.
- Appropriately assess risk when business and technology decisions are made, demonstrating risk management mindset and practices to safeguard BAC's reputation, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to BAC Policy and Standards.
- Apply industry IAM best practices, templates, and documentation while also proposing improvements based on practical knowledge.
- Influence technology and platform owners to build/implement necessary IAM controls into the Cloud environments to create a smooth and effective Cloud IAM adoption experience.
- Engage with Product Managers and Architects to comprehend the strategic technology roadmap, which dictates the need for modernized security principles.
- Ability to consult with the business to identify gaps and governance issues, leveraging own domain expertise to find effective solutions.
- Provide IAM subject matter expertise within the business/technical domain to support scope and requirement decisions.
- Perform impact analysis of modifications or enhancements and work closely with the development team(s) to refine the requirements into specifications that can be implemented.
- Ensure the solution meets expectations through comprehensive UAT/QA testing of the functionality, quality and that the delivery timeline/adoption plan is fit for purpose.
- Create required documentation, playbooks, job aides, workflows, and training material as part of deployment and adoption activities.
- Support the design and updating of new and existing controls, including streaming and automation of reporting.

Must be pro-active and be able to drive direction of work that needs to be completed, ability to work independently on initiatives with little oversight.
Ability to coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery (i.e., kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates).
Ability to be comfortable delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals having varying degrees of technical understanding.
Ability to create management level reporting using aggregated data.
Experience working in Agile methodology and a deep understanding of all phases of the SDLC.
Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking.
Collaboration and ability to influence across peer groups and various levels of management.
