LaSalle Network has partnered with our client in their search for an Enterprise Principal Architect (ServiceNow). This role, working alongside other application architects, will work with senior leaders to develop and architect strategic initiatives that align with the organization's overall objectives with a keen focus in their service management platform - ServiceNow. To be successful in this role, the Enterprise Principal Architect (ServiceNow) should have strong ServiceNow experience, leadership and communication skills, attention to detail, as well as a deep understanding of relevant technology trends, App Engine design patterns and best practices.

Enterprise Principal Architect (ServiceNow) Responsibilities:



  • Partake in the development of ServiceNow application architecture, including the Target State Application Architecture that addresses the Statement of Architecture Work and stakeholder expectations
  • Ensuring that ServiceNow architectures are aligned with the organization's overall solution goals and objectives
  • Develop and maintain reference architecture, architecture building blocks (ABB), standards and guidelines to ensure that the organization's technology is secure and compliant with industry standards
  • Identify areas for capability improvement and implementing strategies and roadmaps to address them
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify and participate in prioritization initiatives
  • Stay up to date with emerging technology trends and developments and evaluating their potential impact on the organization
  • Communicating technology target state, roadmap and development progress to senior leadership and other stakeholders


Enterprise Principal Architect (ServiceNow) Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data science or related field
  • 8+ years of experience with ServiceNow (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, CMDB, APM, SPM, App Engine), preferred in a global capacity
  • Knowledge of architecture governance concepts, application design patterns and best practices
  • Experience developing and implementing architecture governance, guidelines, procedures and standards
  • Experience with platforms such as Salesforce.com (Sales, Marketing Cloud), MuleSoft, Azure or Microsoft M365
  • Proven change management skills
  • Excellent communication, diplomacy and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with business and IT cross-functional teams
  • Experience leading a team of architects, technology owners and technology subject matter experts
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) experience preferred
  • TOGAF and ServiceNow Technical or Master Architect certification preferred
