Network Specialist with Security Clearance

TIAG is now hiring a Network Specialist to support our team at the Uniform Services University of Health Sciences based out of Bethesda, MD. This position requires a Secret level security clearance to be processed to start work, so US Citizenship is a requirement. This position can be hybrid based out of the greater DC area. Primary Responsibilities: * Configure and maintain Cisco DNA center image distribution, authentication, policies, and network device discovery, to provide network automation. * Display knowledge and experience of Mobile Device Management (MDM) through Microsoft Intune as a solution. * Provide Service Ticket support (phone calls, email, trouble tickets, and desktop support) for the customer VOIP phones. * Creates new hire phone and voicemail extensions; routes extensions to appropriate locations and updates information as necessary. * Complete the programming of the IP telephones (Cisco IP-based) and ensure connectivity to the LAN network. * Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, and determines technical solutions in accordance with product and customer specifications. * Schedules and coordinates customer desk-side support for the installation of new phones or to coordinate for issue resolution. * Conduct technical training with customers, staff, and other end users. * Maintain solutions for both secure and nonsecure data communications systems which may include network management equipment, Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) equipment, Internet Protocol (IP) equipment, channel banks, high to low-level multiplex equipment, switching systems, Channel Service Units (CSU), Digital Service Units (DSU), wireless access points, encryption tools and interfaces, signal conversion, and interface equipment. * This also includes all systems residing on the customer premise, beyond the carrier demarcation point. * This may include, planning Data networks, designing infrastructure, as well as engineering, installing, testing, and maintaining network wired and wireless infrastructures. * Provide technical expertise in all matters of installation, implementation, and maintenance for the network infrastructure. * Develop documentation and diagrams that support network engineering, transition, and operations. * Apply network engineering principles, methods, and tools for integrating components (for example, network equipment, protocols, telephony) to meet the mission requirements. * Gather network information requirements using analysis of the Network engineer(s) in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale networking infrastructure (CAN, MAN, WAN). * Perform general voice and data network administration, and provide technical leadership in the integration and testing of complex large-scale networks. * Schedule network conversions and cutovers and perform maintenance of network systems. * Deploy, configure, improve, and support scalable production and corporate network infrastructure following enterprise best practices.
