Mechanical/Visual QC Inspector

Job Title: Mechanical/Visual QC Inspector (for NQA-1 Certification - Nuclear)

Length: 3 Months

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Eunice, NM Onsite Required

Ideal Start Date: 11/04/2024

Requirement Certificate: Proof of NQA-1 Inspector Certificate

Requirements References: Need to check At least 2 RECENT Professional supervisor references that can speak on you performance with NQA-1 experience.

What the client will need are Mechanical/Visual NQA-1 inspectors.

They will be performing actual measurements of components in the field and verifying transposition of previous measurements into new QL1 packages.

There are going to be a few Ultrasonic Thickness Testing measurements, however the client should be able to handle those in house.

These individuals will be going through the site, as most of the measurements/concepts are not safe by design now.

They need to understand they will be doing a lot of measuring and evaluating the safety of these concepts/builds.

The overall site is expanding its capabilities in Eunice NM, from just enrichment to overall Decommissioning, to as well as HALEU enrichment.

We are looking to have the work completed by the end of the year but can let it slide to the end of January 2025 or early February.

The client has estimated 9000 hours of work and will start with 10 people and add up to 15 more if needed to complete the workload.

They are looking to get each individual onsite, with clearances, or without.

The individuals who will be sent will be the ones who have this Mechanical/Visual Testing background.
