Let's chat and see if we are a good match Opportunity: Virtual Service Operations is actively seeking a talented individual with an active TS/SCI clearance to direct strategic and operational activities within a Security Operations Center, including planning, resource allocation, and leadership of hybrid cloud/on-prem SOCs. In this role, you will manage the daily and strategic operations of a Security Operations Center (SOC), overseeing teams, playbooks, and response strategies. You will also ensures the SOC aligns with NIST functions and protects large-scale environments (>50k endpoints). This position requires deep experience with hybrid/cloud SOCs and leadership. Required Qualifications: * Education: Bachelor's degree* Experience: 10 years Total At least 5 years managing a combined on-premise/cloud SOC Or 10 years in cybersecurity incident response in large environments (50,000+ endpoints) Must include experience across all five areas of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework: Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, Recover Exception: 3 additional years of experience in lieu of degree Requirements * Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance* Must be within driving distance of Arlington, VA or willing to relocate to the area (Relocation Assistance Package Available)* Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status* Must be willing to work onsiteWhat is Important to Us: * You are an excellent communicator in writing and speaking.* You have the ability to work independently but also value teamwork.* Your problem-solving skills are excellent.* You are looking for a job where performance appraisals occur regularly, and you look forward to advancing your career.* You seek a community of virtue-centered co-workers and clients.What we offer you: As part of the VSO company, you will be part of a virtue-centered team who value their work and teammates.
