How a Principal Systems Engineer will make an Impact: * SME level support for large deployments of Microsoft Exchange environments and messaging systems. * Manage, maintain, and upgrade existing Microsoft Exchange servers.* Troubleshoot complex problems in Microsoft Exchange environments.* Implement backup and recovery solutions, ensuring data integrity.* Participate in system design and changes related to Microsoft Exchange.* Collaborate with other engineers to enhance email systems.* Providing technical support to end users for software and/or hardware issues. * Ensuring the security and integrity of system and product solutions. What You'll need to Succeed: * Education: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related scientific or technical discipline required.* Required Experience: 8+ years * Required Technical Skills: DoD 8140/8570 IAT III compliance * Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret* Required Skills and Abilities: Strong verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Ability to convey conceptual ideas both written and verbally; Strong problem-solving skills * Location: Washington, District of Columbia; limited telework may be available Work Requirements
