Maintenance Tech- 2nd shiftIntroduction:

The Maintenance Tech- 2nd shift is responsible for monitoring, diagnosing, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure the proper, safe, and efficient functionality of production assets. They will perform a variety of maintenance tasks to maintain and improve production and facilities equipment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform Preventative, Corrective, Predictive, and Breakdown Maintenance on production and facilities equipment.
  2. Use problem-solving tools to identify root causes for repetitive breakdowns and losses, and educate peers on solutions.
  3. Develop One Point Lessons and Job Aids for Line Operators, as well as maintenance improvement projects.
  4. Participate in energy conservation, Continuous Improvement, Work orders, and SAP initiatives.
  5. Support spare parts ordering, removal, organization, and minimum quantities requests.
  6. Support the development of center lines and CIL to Operations.
  7. Support production maintenance and engineering in the installation, adjustment, fabrication, or modification of machinery.
  8. Specialize in problem solving electrical and mechanical issues on production equipment.
  9. Ensure OSHA compliance of assigned machinery and equipment.
  10. Perform daily clean-up and organization of maintenance areas.
  11. Maintain excellent team working relationships.
  12. Alert management immediately of any equipment problems or safety concerns.
  13. Adhere to GMP requirements and safety regulations.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Experience with OSHA regulations and GMP standards.
  • Knowledge of machinery, problem-solving, and maintenance techniques.
  • Experience in electronic maintenance, PLC logic, and metal fabrication.
  • Ability to diagnose electrical problems and read wiring diagrams.
  • Basic plumbing and water line repair skills.
