Back End Software Engineer with Security Clearance

JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a CSD Back End Software Engineer to support secure software development efforts for a government client. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining back-end systems in support of mission-critical and classified environments. The ideal candidate has strong software engineering fundamentals, experience working across multiple operating systems, and holds required certifications and an active TS/SCI clearance. Client acceptance is required for this position. RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop, test, and maintain secure back-end software systemsSupport secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) processes and best practicesDevelop and maintain APIs, services, and application logic in support of mission systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including security, operations, and system engineersTroubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend services in Linux and Windows environmentsEnsure software complies with government security and compliance requirementsDocument system designs, code, and technical processes QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications include: Active TS/SCI security clearance (required)Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) certificationHigh School Diploma or GED with 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, or Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience as a Software EngineerExperience developing secure backend software in classified or regulated environments Preferred Qualifications: Experience with programming languages such as Ruby, Python, C#, Java, or PowerShellExperience working across multiple operating systems, including Linux and WindowsWindows Computing Environment (CE) experienceLinux and/or Windows Computing Environment (CE) certificationDoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP) or higher Corvus Consulting, LLC. provides equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability status, genetic information, marital status, ancestry, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, and local laws and offers equal opportunity for VEVRAA Protected Veterans.
