We are looking for a skilled Software Verification and Validation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual software testing at the system level, with a focus on black-box testing. You will be responsible for developing and executing test procedures to ensure the software's quality and functionality, specifically in medical devices or surgical instruments. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

responsibilities:


  • Conduct system-level software verification and validation with hands-on experience in manual testing, focusing on black-box testing methodologies.
  • Develop manual test procedures with clear and concise instructions based on software requirements or user interface specifications.
  • Execute test procedures on medical devices and surgical instruments to verify their performance, safety, and compliance.
  • Document test results, identify issues, and provide feedback to the development team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality standards are met.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of software testing principles, processes, and industry best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, such as FDA guidelines, during the testing process.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the software testing process.
  • Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
