Dedicated Engineer for Network Operations with Security Clearance

Piper Companies is seeking a Dedicated Engineer for Network Operations to join a team in supporting federal customers in Norfolk, VA. This role focuses on telephony, VOIP/SIP systems, and SBC exposure. The candidate will sit onsite 5 days a week. Responsibilities for the Dedicated Engineer: * Configure and integrate telephony and VOIP systems, including SIP-based solutions.* Conduct lab evaluations of new software and hardware for performance and reliability.* Provide critical project assistance and technical leadership on deployments.* Perform fault isolation, triage, replication, and resolution of complex issues.* Support SIP layer troubleshooting and PBX feature provisioning.Qualifications for the Dedicated Engineer: * Active Secret Clearance required * DoD 8570/8140 certification preferred.* Strong knowledge of telephony, VOIP, SIP protocols, and SBC exposure.* Experience with CUCM provisioning and SIP troubleshooting.* Familiarity with PBX environments and feature configuration.* Hands-on experience with application server products preferred.Compensation * $100,000-$118,000 annual* Comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, and holidays.
