One of our Esteem Client is looking for a SAP ABAP Developer for one of it's direct clients in Tallahassee, FL.
This role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP ABAP programming, specifically within the S/4 HANA environment (modules FI/CA, FI, MD, SD, GL), and familiarity with SAP ECC 6.0 or later versions The ideal candidate will possess expertise in various facets of SAP ABAP development, encompassing design, coding, implementation, upgrades, and maintenance. They should be proficient in extending standard SAP functionality using ABAP objects and other modern SAP technologies. The role also necessitates experience in leading IT projects, facilitating meetings, and following up on activities. Collaboration is key, as the developer will be expected to coordinate with business analysts, review functional specifications, and translate those into technical design specifications. Excellent communication skills are crucial for exchanging technical information, mentoring less experienced programmers, and explaining program functionality to functional staff. The developer should be adept at troubleshooting, researching SAP documentation, and generating OSS notes when necessary A strong understanding of SAP ECC functional configuration is essential, with preferred experience in upgrading to SAP HANA or S/4 HANA The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from ABAP programming, analysis, and systems support to developing technical specifications, participating in code reviews, and maintaining SAP modules In terms of education, a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field is preferred. However, equivalent work experience may be considered
