THE WORKAs the Lead Test Engineer in this position, you will:• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans, including test strategy, test design, and test scripts• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineering, software engineering, and hardware engineering, to ensure that systems and products meet customer requirements and industry standards• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test procedures, and test reports• Lead a team of test engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and oversight to ensure that test activities are completed on time and to a high standard• Develop and maintain test environments, including test beds, test fixtures, and test tools• Be available and willing to travel internationally to support test events• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand test requirements and ensure that test activities meet their needs• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues• Develop and implement process improvements to increase test efficiency and effectiveness• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior test engineers, including training and mentoring• Participate in test process improvement initiatives, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes WHO WE AREDo you want to be part of a company culture that empowers employees to think big, lead with a growth mindset, and make the impossible a reality? WHO YOU ARE• An experienced Senior Test Engineer-Lead responsible for leading the development and execution of comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of the PK Ground and Air systems and products. • A candidate with a strong background in system test engineering (Software and Hardware), with expertise in test planning, test design, and test execution. • You will be responsible for leading a team of test engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that systems and products meet customer requirements and industry standards.• Available and willing to travel internationally to support test events and work closely with global customers and partners. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
