Job Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Design and Planning: Collaborate with development and architecture teams to design and plan the Landing Zone infrastructure for applications on the Azure platform. Choose appropriate Azure services, virtual machines, networking configurations, and storage options to meet project needs.
  • Azure Cloud Deployment: Deploy and provision Azure-based platforms and infrastructure according to design and architectural guidelines. Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform to automate the deployment process.
  • Monitoring and Alerting Setup: Implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems using Azure Monitor, Azure Application Insights, and Log Analytics to ensure real-time visibility into system health and performance.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices for the Azure infrastructure, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), access controls, and data encryption to ensure data security.
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery Strategy: Develop and maintain a backup and disaster recovery strategy for all systems, including data backup, retention, and restoration procedures to ensure high availability.
  • Infrastructure Automation: Embrace automation by leveraging CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Azure DevOps to manage infrastructure updates and changes efficiently.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create detailed documentation for newly set up infrastructure, including configuration details, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Promote knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze infrastructure performance. Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, implement caching strategies, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Technical Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support during the deployment phase and beyond, troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related issues while working closely with cross-functional teams.
Skills and Experience Required:Required:
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach to early and effective escalations.
  • Extensive experience with Terraform on Azure for configuring and deploying environments, with preference for candidates who have built infrastructure from the ground up.
  • Strong familiarity with Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure App Service, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
  • Expert-level proficiency in Terraform and the ability to write Terraform scripts from scratch to build and support Azure infrastructure.
  • Seeking seasoned professionals with significant experience for senior-level roles.
