Title: Mechanical Engineer
Compensation: $70k-$110k/year (depending on experience)
Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze mechanical systems and equipment based on industry standards.
  • Perform detailed calculations to support drafting and fabrication processes.
  • Collaborate with customers to ensure technical specifications are met and resolve design-related issues.
  • Create accurate bills of materials and review project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes and guidelines.
  • Develop 2D drawings and provide technical support for manufacturing and installation.

What you need for this position:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the design of industrial mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with materials commonly used in mechanical fabrication.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering codes and standards.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
