Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day production support for mainframe-based HR, Payroll, and Employee Travel applications
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve COBOL batch processing, transmission, and interface-related issues, identifying root causes
Support critical data transmissions and integrations between legacy systems, Oracle PeopleSoft, Workday, and downstream applications
Analyze production incidents and serve as the primary technical subject matter expert for issue triage and remediation
Maintain and enhance COBOL and JCL programs supporting business processes
Collaborate with business analysts and technical teams to develop and implement technical solutions
Support testing activities, defect resolution, and deployment efforts related to modernization initiatives
Use mainframe tools such as Control-M, SPUFI, and File Manager to support application operations and troubleshooting
Support batch processing, job scheduling, and interface workflows to maintain application reliability
Provide occasional off-hours support for production incidents and critical releases
