Location: This position does not support teleworking;the selected candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Huntsville AL and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time. The L&TSE team develops, test and verifies various ground support equipment for the THAAD Program, ensuring various THAAD subsystems perform its capabilities for launch tests. The primary role of this position is to lead the team supporting the sustainment and periodic refresh of L&TSE ground support equipment being used at various test & production facilities. Key activities you will accomplish in this role: • Serve as a Certified System Engineer (CPE) for the entire L&TSE HW products• Establish system architecture and CONOPS, perform system level design and decomposition into requirements• Ensure interface compatibility for L&TSE products and their interfaces• Perform system analysis and interface definition and technical management and execution• Lead studies and system trades for enhanced capabilities • Lead L&TSE team with risk reduction planning and test execution • Develop plans to on-ramp new mission capabilities while protecting the primary mission• Lead and coordinate design reviews and technical product reviews• Support verification, validation, and test planning• Lead failure investigations and anomaly resolution boards• Seek out new opportunities for incorporating best-practices and standards across Global Security, LM Space, and the industry at-large (tools, concepts, methods, etc.) To be effective in this role, you will need: • 5+ years of professional experience. • Qualified candidate must hold an active DoD Final Secret Security Clearance; thus US Citizenship is required. System trade studies and/or System modeling b.) Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development c.) System integration, test and verification d.) Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies e.)
