Role: CICD Platform Architect

Location: Seattle WA (hybrid)

Duration: 6-12 months

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled CI/CD Platform Architect to lead the design and development of our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and platform infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DevOps practices, cloud-native architectures, and automation tools, with a strong focus on optimizing software delivery processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to build scalable, secure, and reliable CI/CD pipelines that drive faster, high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Platform Design & Implementation: Architect, design, and implement robust CI/CD pipelines and platforms, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
  • Automation & Optimization: Automate build, test, and deployment workflows to optimize software development and delivery processes.
  • Tool Integration: Integrate CI/CD tools with existing infrastructure, including source control (e.g., Git), container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), cloud services (AWS), and monitoring tools.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to establish best practices in DevOps, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
  • Security: Implement security controls and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices throughout the CI/CD lifecycle.
  • Monitoring & Metrics: Establish monitoring and logging solutions to track performance, detect issues, and ensure continuous improvement of the platform.
  • Documentation & Training: Provide thorough documentation of the platform architecture, processes, and tools, and deliver training to development teams on using the CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in software development or DevOps, with at least 3-5 years focused on CI/CD architecture and platform development.

Technical Skills:

    • Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar. Cient is looking CICD Platform Architect very very strong in GIT lab
    • Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
    • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and automation frameworks.
    • Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket) and artifact repositories (Nexus, Artifactory).
    • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Leadership experience in guiding technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
  • Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS) or DevOps tools.
