About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic IT Project Manager to lead and support a variety of IT Department projects, with a strong focus on executive-level reporting. The IT Project Manager will collect, analyze, and develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to support executive decision-making. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams, including service delivery managers, engineers, sourcing teams, and other stakeholders. Reporting to the VP of the PMO, you will oversee the firm s overall project portfolio and advance PMO enhancement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be creative, analytical, and enthusiastic, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. A strong sense of responsibility for delivering excellent project management is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leadership to define project scope and deliverables that meet business objectives.
  • Gather and analyze data to provide key metrics and trends.
  • Work with management and stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Create detailed reports and dashboards with key insights.
  • Continuously seek feedback to improve reporting processes and tools.
  • Collaborate across IT and business areas to manage and oversee projects.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and design project solutions.
  • Communicate user needs effectively with IT personnel to implement solutions.
  • Identify and analyze trends or patterns in data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with firm practices.
  • Create roadmaps, project plans, and business requirements to ensure solutions are accurate.
  • Plan and manage projects, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and success metrics.
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Maintain project schedules using PM tools and techniques.
  • Conduct active follow-ups on project status and operational tasks.
  • Ensure timely updates on project and operational tasks in relevant tools.
  • Create and monitor metrics, usage reports, and other measurements to evaluate platform effectiveness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

  • 7-10 years of IT Project Management experience, particularly in the financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in executive-level reporting.
  • General understanding of IT systems and networking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, JIRA, and other project management tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Proficiency in IT project management disciplines (Agile, Splunk, SharePoint, JIRA, JIVE, etc.).
  • Experience in Financial or Technology Consulting industries is required.
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and teamwork skills.
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, and eagerness to take on responsibility and learn new skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust based on feedback.
  • High level of personal responsibility for delivering an excellent project management experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
