Role : Salesforce Commerce Cloud Architect

Location : Pittsburgh, PA

Duration: Contract

Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in IT architecture roles, with at least 3-5 years focused on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C/B2B).
  • Proven experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale eCommerce solutions.

Technical Skills:

  • Deep expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud architecture and development, including custom cartridges, SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture), and Business Manager configurations.
  • Proficiency in integrating Salesforce Commerce Cloud with other Salesforce Clouds (Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.) and third-party systems.
  • Strong background in web technologies: JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Experience with headless commerce, microservices architecture, and API-first design.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools, version control systems (Git), and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
  • Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing platform challenges.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with experience guiding teams, driving projects, and influencing business stakeholders.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Certified B2C Commerce Architect is preferred. Salesforce Platform Developer or other related certifications are a plus.
