Job Title: Quality Technician Job Code : 32105 Job Location: Norfolk, VA Schedule: (5/40) Job Description: L3 Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Quality Technician to join our Norfolk, Va team. Essential Functions: * Conduct quality assurance audits to ensure adherence to procedures, materials, and technical instructions in a manufacturing environment.* Perform regular inspections of work areas and other quality assessments.* Attend production meetings for updates on job progress and work with shop leads to address issues.* Review and finalize records at the conclusion of each work package for storage.* Maintain equipment and ensure calibration for testing.* Collaborate with other Quality Assurance Specialist as needed.* Support quality control initiatives Qualifications: * Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. * 5+ years of quality or technical experience in a manufacturing environment.* Strong organizational and communication skills.* Proficient in blueprint reading and QA systems.* Proficient in reading electrical schematics and a thorough understanding of electrical/electronic test results.* Knowledge of measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).* Proficient in Microsoft Office.* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.* Must be a US Citizen.Preferred Additional Skills: * NBPI and NACE certifications preferred but not required* J-STD-001 preferred but not required* WHMA/IPC-A-620 preferred but not required L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
