SAP MM PP Architect

Works Hybrid from Northfield, IL (3 days onsite, 2 days remote every week)

We are seeking an experienced SAP Manufacturing Business System Architect specializing in MM, PP, and EWM, with a strong focus on the PP module. This role is a key addition to our SAP Manufacturing Product team, and we are looking for someone with 15+ years of experience as a Manufacturing SAP System Principal Consultant who has led technical designs for at least three S4 implementations.

As an SAP Functional Architect, you will work closely with business and IT leaders to align technology initiatives with business strategies. You will provide leadership, analysis, and design expertise to the SAP S/4 Manufacturing Product team, focusing on the Plan to Produce process. This role involves leading new implementation projects, managing application lifecycle activities, and supporting business strategies by ensuring project alignment with architectural governance, standards, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business and IT leaders to drive technology initiatives that align with business strategies.
• Lead all new implementation projects and manage ongoing support of the S4 HANA Manufacturing solution.
• Support, architect, and design within MM & PP modules of SAP S/4 and ECC systems.
• Provide end-to-end support for the S4 HANA Manufacturing and related processes, including integration with EWM, Supply Chain, and Finance.
• Coach, mentor, and collaborate with technical teams to implement solutions that drive new business capabilities.
• Develop architectural designs and ensure technical decisions align with future-state architecture vision.
• Manage solution governance, system upgrades, continuous improvement initiatives, and roadmap decisions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Manufacturing, or related field.
• At least 15 years of total SAP systems experience, with 3+ implementations on SAP S4, leading the Manufacturing workstream.
• Expertise in SAP MM & PP modules with strong functional and business knowledge.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, EDI functions, master data management, and labelling software like OpenText is preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with excellent interpersonal abilities for teamwork and facilitation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and work independently.
• Availability for 10-15% overnight domestic travel.
