Cybersecurity Analyst with Security Clearance

Client Solution Architects (CSA) is currently seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support a program at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA. For nearly 50 years, CSA has delivered integrated technology and operational support services to meet the defense and federal sector's most complex enterprise needs. Working from operations centers and shipyards to training sites and program offices, CSA deploys experienced teams, innovative tools and proven processes to advance federal missions. This position is contingent upon award. How Role will make an impact: * Cybersecurity and Information Security (INFOSEC): * Apply advanced knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and requirements to ensure compliance and system security. * Conduct system and network vulnerability analysis to identify and mitigate risks. * Risk Assessment and Mitigation: * Perform comprehensive risk assessments and develop effective risk mitigation strategies. * Support Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) processes to validate system security measures. * Contingency Planning: * Develop and maintain contingency plans to ensure operational continuity in the event of a cybersecurity incident. * Firewall and Network Security: * Manage and enforce firewall policies, ports, and protocols to safeguard network integrity. * Vulnerability Remediation Asset Management (VRAM): * Oversee day-to-day VRAM activities, including entering system baseline configurations and uploading vulnerability scans of representative baseline systems. * Cybersecurity Tools and Applications: * Utilize and manage cybersecurity tools such as ACAS, HBSS, MDE, MDI, and Splunk to monitor, analyze, and respond to security threats. * Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: * Ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements as defined by Public Laws, National, DoD, and DON guidance, including but not limited to: * Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) * DoDD 8100.02, DoDI 8500.01, DoDI 8520, DoDI 8530, DoDI 8531 * SECNAV 5239 Series and OPNAV 5239 Series * NIST Special Publications Series 800 * Maintain expert knowledge of OPNAVINST N9210.3 for safeguarding Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information. * Institutional Knowledge and Expertise: * Leverage expert-level knowledge and a minimum of 4 years of experience in mission-critical procedures, systems, and processes related to IT and cybersecurity requirements. * DoD 8570.01M Qualification: * Ensure full qualification in accordance with DoD 8570.01M standards.
