Patient Registrar

TEKsystems is hiring a Patient Registrar for a hospital system in Indianapolis
Shift: First and third shifts available
Description:
- Interviews patient/patient representative to confirm demographic, financial and clinical information
- Performs insurance eligibility verification for specific services
- Facilitates copay collection conversations with patients
- Ensures complete and accurate demographic collection in a timely manner
Requirements:

• 2+ years of customer service experience
• Highly empathetic and compassionate
• Bubbly personality
• Interested in a long-term career in healthcare
• Good tenure
• Ability to learn and use new technology
