Job Title: IOS Engineer

Location: New Jersey (Onsite)

Duration: Long Term

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance, focusing on Swift development.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  • Lead the development of iOS apps required for international clients.
  • Write clean, sustainable Swift code and ensure code is compliant with the latest coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs and improve application performance.
  • Work closely with the product team to build innovative, robust, and easy-to-use features using Swift.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality Swift code.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance for their professional development.
  • Create and maintain software documentation.

Requirements:

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
  • Proven working experience as an app developer, with a focus on Swift iOS development.
  • Proficient in Swift and Cocoa Touch.
  • Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
  • Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
  • Understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines.
  • Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred.
  • Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
