Enterprise Architect with Security Clearance

Piper Companies is hiring an Enterprise Architect to design secure, scalable, and automated network architectures for a leading federal IT provider. This full-time, remote role will lead strategy, design, and implementation across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. Responsibilities of the Enterprise Architect Include: * Translate client requirements into tailored network architecture solutions.* Assess and optimize infrastructure for scalability, resiliency, and security.* Design and document enterprise network architectures.* Lead deployments and ensure alignment with best practices.* Drive network automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible, Terraform, Python).* Develop CI/CD pipelines for network infrastructure.* Standardize architectures and create reusable templates.* Collaborate with engineering teams and vendors.* Mentor teams on automation and emerging technologies (SDN, SASE, Zero Trust).* Troubleshoot complex network and automation issues.* 15-25% travel required Qualifications of the Enterprise Architect Include: * ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE required* IAT level II Certification required * Bachelor's in CS, IT, or related field* 7+ years in network architecture/engineering.* Expertise in enterprise-grade networks (on-prem, cloud, hybrid).* Strong knowledge of protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPNs, SD-WAN).* Hands-on with automation tools (Ansible, Python, Terraform).* Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).* IaC and DevOps methodologies.* Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).* Certifications: CCNP preferred, CCIE preferred; DevNet a plus.* Strong communication and leadership skills. Compensation of the Enterprise Architect Includes: * Salary Range: $150,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year, based on experience and certifications.* Full Comprehensive Benefits: CIGNA Medical, Dental, Vision; 401k through ADP.This job opens for applications on 11/11/2025.
