Embedded Software Engineer with Security Clearance

Resonant Sciences LLC has an immediate opening for an Embedded Software Engineer to join our Dayton, Ohio team. The position provides an opportunity to join a fast-paced elite team whose primary mission is to support our Nation's War Fighters. The candidate for this position shall be a self-starter who can work independently, unsupervised, and with little guidance. The candidate will have an opportunity to be a member of a world-class team consisting of talented and dedicated engineers, technicians, and professionals who work together to interrupt and challenge the status quo to design and develop state-of- the-art technologies. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with experience in software design and development to work in a fast-paced RF laboratory designing, developing, and testing custom RF embedded solutions.The selected Embedded Software Engineer will have responsibility for the following areas: • Design software, scripts, and applications for embedded systems. • Work with other software engineers to coordinate efforts and meet project deadlines. • Collaborate with mechanical, automation, and electrical engineers to design, build, debug, and test custom hardware and software systems. • Travel to customer sites to provide training and support. • Work independently to form comprehensive solutions to complex engineering problems. • Communicate software designs and best practices coherently. • Perform other duties, as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or related field with at least ten years’ experience. • Experience with C/C++ and interfacing with low-level hardware interfaces and register space. • Experience with Python, Matlab, or LabVIEW as an engineering tool. • Experience with Yocto, bitbake, or linux driver development is a plus. • Experience with electronics hardware and use of interfaces such as I2C, SPI, RS232, ect. is a plus.CITIZENSHIP/SECURITY CLEARANCE: • U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance required.
