Solidus is searching for an Information Assurance Engineer to support the Integrated Systems Research and Analysis for Assured Lifecycle Capabilities for the Nuclear Weapons Enterprise for Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC)/Nuclear Technology and Integration Directorate.

This position is located in Kirkland AFB in New Mexico. Candidates must be able to work on-site.
What you will bring to the role (requirements):
- ship and able to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor s Degree ; Master or PHD preferred
- 12+ years of experience
- Provides consultation on complex projects as a top-level specialist and may lead and direct others.
Day in the life:
- Establishes and satisfies complex system-wide information security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.
- Supports customers at the highest levels in the development and implementation of doctrine and policies.
- Applies expertise to government and commercial common user systems, as well as to dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and procedures. Examples could include command and control-related networks.
- Identifies security risks, threats and vulnerabilities of networks, systems, applications and new technology initiatives.
- Develops, tests, and operates firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti-virus systems and software deployment tools.
- Tests and debugs programs and scripts and prepares instruction for use during network exploitation activities.
- Applies knowledge of current IA policy, tactics, techniques, policy, and doctrine, and relationship to IA reporting requirements and structure.
- Assists in the planning and implementation of requirements.
