Overview:
We are seeking an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Tool Architect to join our team to support our client on the California State Payroll System (CSPS) Project. The current systems are outdated, inflexible, and fail to meet stakeholders' needs for accurate, timely data and decision-making support. The CSPS Project seeks to replace these legacy systems and transform business processes. The existing infrastructure is fragile, requiring constant IT monitoring, and system changes result in backlogs.

Duties:

  • Configure and manage lifecycle tools such as IBM ELM, Azure DevOps, or Jira for requirements, workflow, and test management.
  • Architect solutions that optimize lifecycle management processes across development and testing teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the tools align with business needs and enhance project workflows.
  • Effectively manage lifecycle tool implementation and improvements.
  • Streamline tool configuration and support continuous process improvements.

Mandatory Qualification:

  • 2+ years of FTE experience as an architect configuring a lifecycle management tool that specializes in requirements management, workflow management, and test management such as IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM), Microsoft Azure DevOps, or Jira.

Desirable Qualification:

  • Must be actively certified in at least one (1) of the following certifications in one (1) from an industry recognized certification organization.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
  • Program Management Institute (PMI) Professional in Business Analysis (PMI- PBA ) Certification
  • Actively certified in at least one (1) of the following certifications from an industry recognized certification organization:
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
  • Actively certified in at least one (1) of the following certifications from an industry recognized certification organization:
  • International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP ) Certification
  • Certified Software Tester
  • 2+ years of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) experience.
  • Current certification in Lean Six Sigma.
