Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer based in Carrollton, Texas. This role will entail working as part of a team to develop quality software using Agile/Scrum methodologies for our security systems portfolio. The position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

Develop software using C# programming and object-oriented programming techniques.
Follow the company's configuration management and development processes to ensure high-quality software development.
Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Establish effective communication and maintain good working relationships with team members and other departments.
Utilize your knowledge of WPF, WCF, and SQL to enhance the software development process.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve software issues.
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to interface with internal customers including software engineers, test engineers, trainers, and management.
Work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Learn and apply new technologies to current and future duties.

Requirements

Proficiency in WPF - Windows Presentation Foundation
Experience with WCF - Windows Communication Foundation
Expertise in C Sharp Programming (C#)
Strong skills in SQL
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Detail-oriented and capable of delivering high-quality results on schedule
Knowledge of software development methodologies and lifecycle
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
