The Clinical Nurse II is responsible for assessing, coordinating, planning, and managing patient care in the Infectious Disease Med/Surg Unit. This role ensures competent delivery of compassionate patient care, working closely with a caregiving team to facilitate recovery and transitions during the acute care stay. Nurses also have opportunities for professional advancement within the Nursing Professional Advancement Pathway, highlighting their growth from novice to expert status.

The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the delivery and coordination of patient care provided by the caregiving team. S/he assures that competent, compassionate patient care is uniformly provided to customers including referring facilities, hospital staff and patients in the inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings. ** Registered Professional Nurses that participate in the Nursing Professional Advancement Pathway (NPAP) must progress from novice to competent within a specialty.
