Your Role and Responsibilities

The z/OS Development organization is seeking developers and level 3 to assist in the design, development, test, delivery, and service of mission-critical enhancements to z/OS JES2 (Job Entry Subsystem). Candidates will work closely with teammates to provide world-class infrastructure on z/OS with the reliability, availability, serviceability, and security that exceed our clients' expectations. Candidates should be self-starters, demonstrated communicators, able to work in a strong collaborative manner with a group of peers, be adaptable, and demonstrate initiative and innovation. This role develops new and maintains existing functions for z/OS JES2.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Drive and eagerness to learn.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience with back-end development and level 3.
Experience with programming languages like Assembler, C/C++, and PL/X.
Basic knowledge of Agile and continuous delivery models and DevOps.
Basic knowledge and applying strategic skills including Analytics, Design Thinking, Agile, AI, etc.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
