GAOR is Seeking a Bold, Visionary CEO
The Glendale Association of REALTORS (GAOR) is at a turning point. For years, we have followed the industry's traditional playbook—but now, it's time for something different. We are looking for a CEO who is ready to challenge the status quo, redefine our direction, and lead GAOR into a future where innovation, advocacy, and engagement take center stage.
Who We Need
This is not a role for someone who wants to maintain business as usual. We need a leader who:
- Thinks strategically and acts decisively – Someone who can set a bold vision and execute on it.
- Challenges norms and drives change – Not just another industry executive, but a trailblazer who will rethink how GAOR serves its members and impacts the community.
- Leads with confidence and conviction – Someone who can advocate for GAOR's unique needs while navigating relationships with NAR, CAR, and local stakeholders.
- Inspires engagement and growth – A leader who will elevate member participation, foster collaboration, and increase GAOR's value proposition.
- Executes with excellence – Beyond big ideas, this CEO must be able to drive results, optimize operations, and build a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Vision and Strategy: Define a clear, forward-thinking path for GAOR that puts members first.
- Organizational Leadership: Build a culture of accountability, innovation, and action.
- Advocacy and Influence: Represent GAOR confidently at local, state, and national levels while ensuring our priorities are heard.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, optimize resources, and create new opportunities for revenue and impact.
- Membership Growth and Engagement: Develop initiatives that increase participation, value, and long-term loyalty.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven leadership experience in organizational transformation, advocacy, or nonprofit management.
- A fearless, results-oriented mindset with a history of pushing boundaries and making meaningful impact.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills to influence members, industry leaders, and policymakers.
- A deep understanding of (or ability to quickly learn) the real estate landscape and the role of associations in shaping it.
Why This Role
This is a rare opportunity to reshape an organization from the ground up, challenge old paradigms, and build a legacy of leadership that matters. If you're ready to lead GAOR into its next era, we want to hear from you.
To apply, send your resume and a cover letter outlining your vision for GAOR's future to careeropportunities@gaor.org. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
The future of GAOR starts now—will you be the one to lead it?
