Travel Nurse (RN) Oncology (ONC Unit) at Epic Travel Staffing summary:

The Travel Nurse (RN) specializing in Oncology for the Pediatrics unit provides essential nursing care in a 12 bay infusion center. Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy and supportive care for cancer and hematology patients while supporting procedures like spinal taps and bone marrow biopsies. This role requires a valid nursing license, pediatric experience, and certification in chemotherapy administration, providing comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Oncology - Pediatrics

Shift: Days / 8a-4:30p, 8x5, 40 hours per week, M-F, Every Other Weekend

Length: 14 weeks

Requirements:

  • NC License
  • 1 year of nursing experience.
  • Must have Peds HO experience
  • APHON or ONS Chemotherapy certified
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA PALS
  • Nursing Diploma or ADN or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing
  • BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing preferred

Other Details:

  • Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Infusion is a 12 bay infusion center that provides Chemotherapy- Biotherapy and supportive care for cancer patients, infusions for Hematology patients, and lab draws. Two days a week we also support anesthesia for Spinal tap and bone marrow procedures in our clinic. The patients are sedated and recovered in our infusion area.
