Consulting Associate – Growth Team

Core One is seeking an Entry-level Consulting Associate to support our Corporate Team. Must be eager to be part of a fast-growing company with access to top level executives and senior experts in the industry. The ideal candidate is an energetic and motivated team player who will thrive in an unstructured, entrepreneurial environment and wants to directly impact the growth and success of our organization.

This position is onsite at our Tysons, VA office

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Develop innovative, research-based solutions to address complex national security challenges.
  2. Research, write, and edit white papers, management consulting studies, and strategic reports.
  3. Create graphical content for briefing materials, pitch decks, and marketing collateral.
  4. Support the growth team by preparing for and back-benching briefings and presentations to our clients.
  5. Assist with market analysis and operational support related to growth and client strategy.
  6. Assist in the building and development of strategic capture and outreach plans.
  7. Contribute to growth analysis with assistance on financial modeling around pipeline sizing, growth forecasts, and revenue projections.
  8. Perform various capture and proposal services, such as analyzing solicitations, determining proposal requirements, developing the response strategy, and submitting a compliant, responsive proposal along with writing, tailoring, and editing content.
  9. Assist in crafting financial models, growth forecasts, and revenue projections to support corporate strategy.
  10. Engage directly with management and executive teams on projects, organizational growth, and innovation initiatives.
  11. Use creativity and critical thinking to solve problems for clients.
  12. Be a crucial member of the team in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  13. Work directly with management and executive teams on projects, proposals, and company growth.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in the Social Sciences, Business, or a related field.
  2. Outstanding academic record and a GPA of 3.4 or higher.
  3. Must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued Security Clearance.
  4. Exceptional writing and communication skills.
  5. Competitive, energetic, and motivated to exceed personal and established goals.
  6. Attention to detail.
  7. Demonstrated interest in National Security.
  8. Excellent critical thinking, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
  9. Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills and ability to learn new software programs quickly.
  10. Desired: Experience with Figma, Canva, Visio, Diagrams.net, and AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, DALL·E, or similar).
  11. Desired: Experience or exposure to privacy and security focused technical products and solutions.
