Registered Nurse Job Details Location: Canton, Ohio (44708) – Ohio healthcare jobs Unit: 7Main Medical/Telemetry Unit Employment Type: Travel RN contract Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/19/2025 – End: 3/20/2026) Shifts: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts/week (7:00pm – 7:30am) Hours per Week: 36 Openings: 2 Med/Surg Telemetry RN positions Estimated Weekly Salary: $180 RN Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 18 months recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience Active Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS & ACLS certifications NIH Stroke certification (required prior to start) Experience with Epic charting system TWO recent references from a Med/Surg Telemetry manager, ANM, supervisor, or director (from assignments worked within the past 12 months) COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered) Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond to changes in patient condition Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic EMR Complete orientation and required clinical assessments Work every other holiday as scheduled Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
